Polish Festival Vancouver proudly supported by Global BC

The Polish Festival is organized by The Polish Festival Vancouver Society together with Belweder North Shore Polish Association. It celebrates Polish culture, folklore, music, cuisine, and showcases products of local artists and artisans. It is an annual event and takes place at Shipbuilders Square, North Vancouver on September 6rd, 2025. The festival offers live music, traditional Polish dancing, excellent Polish cuisine, and cooking demonstrations, crafts, cultural and art exhibits, children’s activities including games and theatrical performances, and cultural souvenirs. We support homegrown new artist and performers not only in monetary terms but also by enhancing their name and talent recognition. The festival also supports independent local business and food vendors who have the opportunity to advertise their products. Furthermore, and perhaps equally crucial is the significant role Polish Festival plays in reinforcement of community pride by building awareness of diverse cultures and identities. It provides community members with opportunities to engage in socialization, entertainment, and the formation of social networks, which contributes to the enhancement of community connection. The festival also provides opportunities for youth to volunteer and to learn new skills and meet new friends. Participation in our Festival gives the opportunity for the entire community and visitors for collective celebration, promotes social harmony, sense of place and offers release form stress of everyday life. Participation is free and everyone is welcome.
