The One Of A Kind Show has been pushing and redefining the boundaries of creativity since the Show’s inception in 1975, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. As the largest and most highly attended craft show in Canada, the One Of A Kind Spring Show features the works of 450+ of the most talented artisans from across Canada. With spring bringing a wave of new beginnings, the One Of A Kind Spring Show is the place to discover emerging talents and connect directly with makers. With standout sections like Marketplace, ILEO Community Market, and Williams Parkway Sr. Public School’s Grade 8 students in the returning Small Biz section, it’s a chance to explore fresh ideas and innovative businesses, getting to know them before they make their big mark. One Of A Kind After Hours – Beach Party: On Thursday, March 27, starting at 5 pm, the show will remain open until 11 pm so you can shop late while you meet up with friends, loved ones, and colleagues after work! Display/Competition – Beach Day: Celebrate the carefree joy of a Beach Day, the theme of this year’s center display and exhibitor competition. Every year OOAK challenges their makers to create and submit a One Of A Kind piece in their medium. This theme is rich with meaning and can be interpreted as the beauty and tranquillity of a quiet day by the water but also as the place where families and friends come together to enjoy fun activities and make memories. Summer at the beach is hopeful and bright with reflective blue water and sunny skies. Merchandising Area – Picnic: Spring is in full bloom and summer is around the corner. For Canadians, the warmer weather brings more opportunities to relax in nature, and nothing says outdoor relaxation like a picnic. This special curated merchandising area brings together products inspired by the beauty of adventures, cozy blankets, and breaking bread under the open sky.
