‘Tis the Season at The CORE

The CORE Shopping Centre will be bustling with festive activities and events for Calgarians to partake in this holiday season! Celebrate the season and shop longer with extended holiday shopping hours, snap festive photos for free with Santa, enjoy hassle-free gift wrapping, holiday pop-up shops, lunchtime entertainment, giveaways, free evening and weekend parking, and plenty more!

Extended Holiday Shopping Hours:
November 29 to December 23, 2024
Monday to Saturday | 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sundays | 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Black Friday Gift Card Promotion:
For holiday shoppers looking for great deals, The CORE’s Black Friday BOGO gift card promotion will kick off ahead of Black Friday on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Visit the gift card booth next to the Simons Holiday Truck on Level 2 to purchase a $250.00 CORE Gift Card and receive a bonus $25.00 CORE Gift Card.
*In-person only, promotion does not apply to online orders or self-serve kiosk purchases. Offer valid while supplies last. Limit of two per customer. The Magic of Christmas Gift Wrapping Lounge:
The Magic of Christmas is a local and 100% volunteer run organization devoted to delivering holiday cheer into the homes and hearts of Calgarians who need it most – sharing monetary and in-kind donations with recipients in the Calgary area who are coping with emotional, physical, or financial issues during the holiday season.
This year’s Gift Wrapping Lounge is in support of The Magic of Christmas and will be operated by their volunteers who are collecting monetary and in-kind donations that go to support the organization in exchange for gift wrapping services.
Located on Level 3 of The CORE, next to H&M. Open Tuesday through Sunday from December 3 to December 22, 2024. 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Closed on Mondays.
Gift wrapping is complimentary. Suggest minimum $5.00 or in-kind donation of an unwrapped gift to The Magic of Christmas.

Margaritas for The Magic of Christmas:
On Wednesday, December 11, shoppers are invited to drop off an unwrapped gift for The Magic of Christmas at The Office Restaurant and Bar between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. In return, they’ll receive a signature Margarita on Santa’s Tab!

FREE photos with Santa:
Visit Santa at the Simons Holiday Truck every Saturday and Sunday from December 7 to December 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.! Photos are first come, first serve.
Photos can be taken on your phone for easy sharing with family and friends. Share your photo to Instagram with the hashtag #FindYourselfDowntown to have your photo printed out on the spot courtesy of Fotohub.
Santa is in support of The Magic of Christmas. Donations to The Magic of Christmas and the organization’s Elves will be available to assist you during your visit.

12 Days of Holiday Giveaways:
Every day from December 1 to December 12, a new door to the 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways digital advent calendar on the CORE’s Instagram page, @COREShopping will appear for you to open and unveil an exciting prize to be won!
