St. Andrew’s invites you to join us for Jazz Vespers on August 25 at 4:00 pm, featuring Ruby Lane Organ Trio. The band, with Jim Flaming on guitar, Erik Reimers on organ and Marke Andrews on drums, has been around for over 2 years and has performed at Frankie’s, Guilt & Co., Osita, Jazz Evensong at Brentwood Presbyterian Church, at the White Rock Jazz Festival, Tsawwassen United Church’s Jazz Vespers and St. Andrew’s-Wesley. Their music is a mixture of jazz standards, Latinx rhythms (bossa nova, tango, Afro-Cuban), funk, Gospel, instrumental arrangements of pop songs, and original compositions.
