Global Edmonton supports – World Partnership Walk

The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest public movement to fight global poverty, uniting Canadians across the country in collective action since 1985.

For the first time since 2019, The World Partnership Walk is back in Edmonton! Everyone is invited to register for the campaign and join the Walk Day celebrations on Sunday, June 2, at Legislature Grounds to walk alongside passionate Canadians dedicated to fighting global poverty.

More than 700 million people live in extreme poverty (less than $2.15 USD a day); the Walk is an opportunity to raise awareness and critical funds to improve the quality of life in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
