The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is the largest fundraising event in Canada that brings together the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community to raise funds for T1D research.
When you participate in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, you will have the chance to meet other families, share experiences with the T1D community and others who “just get it”. The Walk provides an opportunity for kids to meet other kids living with T1D, maybe even make a make a buddy helping them feel less alone on their journey with T1D.
As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of JDRF Canada, we recognize how this event has impacted the significant progress made in managing T1D, improving mental health outcomes, accelerating research, and increasing access to diabetes devices.
Join the journey of activities for all ages, interactive kids’ zone, enjoy some refreshing ice cream and other snacks, and so much more.
The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will take place on Sunday June 2, 2024 at Nicholls Oval in Peterborough.
