United Voices Choir presents Bach’s magnificent Mass in B Minor, performed with orchestra and soloists. The Mass in B Minor is regarded as one of the world’s greatest pieces of classical music and is a testament to Bach’s extraordinary skill and invention. Its powerful choruses, complex fugues, elegant solos and operatic duets show his exceptional mastery of form and expression. The 60 singers of United Voices Choir, directed by Dr Greg Caisley, are joined by soloists and orchestra to perform this monumental work. Soloists: Dory Hayley (soprano); Jillian Tam (mezzo-soprano); Jonathan Michel (tenor); Erik Kallo (countertenor); David Rosborough (bass). Director: Dr Greg Caisley. There will also be a performance at St Paul’s Anglican Church in the West End on June 2 at 7pm.
