The Eastside Dance Festival Society presents an electrifying showcase of outstanding dance programs from 17 CBE and CSSD Schools at the U of C Theatre May 9th and 10th at 7pm. Over 450 dancers will perform and some will share over $100,000 in scholarships and cash prizes to support continued dance education after high school. For tickets, visit the University Theatre Events page (https://theatre-tickets.ucalgary.ca/?tx=84001) Prior to each performance on May 9th and 10th, we are holding a FREE parent engagement session at the Eckhardt Gramatté Hall in U of C’s Rozsa Centre from 5:00 pm. Esteemed local dance educators, academics, and professional artists will share their career pathways and the most recent research conducted on the benefits of dance for developing young minds and bodies.
