2024 Chinook Blast; supported by Global Calgary & QR Calgary

Chinook Blast is Calgary’s signature winter celebration that brings together partners from the arts, nonprofit, neighbourhood, tourism, and sports communities to create an inclusive event that showcases the best of our city. Our vision is to build a uniquely Calgary winter experience that draws visitors from all corners of Calgary and all around the world. Chinook Blast will run from February 2 to February 19, 2024.

This year, Chinook Blast becomes a huge arena to showcase an impressive lineup of major sporting events that will ignite the passion of sports enthusiasts. From the high-speed adrenaline of NitroRally X to the ISU World Speed Skating Championship,  Scotties Tournament of Hearts, and the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games, festival goers can expect an electrifying fusion of winter sports excitement.
