St. Albert Ringette Association is hosting a FREE Come Try Ringette event on Saturday March 4 from 11:30 to 12:30 at Servus Place in St. Albert. Please encourage your friends and family to come out to the event and experience the fun for themselves. Helmets, gloves and skates are required, sticks are available if needed although you are able to bring your own. The Professional Golfers' Association of Alberta organzies two consumer golf shows every year, one in Edmonton and one in Calgary. These shows include an indoor driving with some of the industry's top suppliers, including PING, Callaway and Cobra Puma Golf, along with a Clearance Centre that is clearing out clubs, clothing and accessories. The Edmonton Eskimos are gearing up for a fantastic season!

This is a family friendly event on Canada Day morning. Hosted on the Alberta Legislature Grounds, these events have something for everyone - 15km road race, 15km walk, 5 km Fun Run/Walk and 2.5 Family Fun run/walk/obstacle course. In celebration of Canada's 150th, all participants will receive a commerative finishers medal, t-shirt and water bottle. It also is a fund raising event in support of the cancer research being done by Dr. Kerry Courneya at the University of Alberta.
