Cara Fullerton

Beginning her career as a computer analyst, Cara switched gears in 1998 when she decided to pursue a new career in the broadcast industry. Graduating from NAIT in 2000 with a broadcasting diploma, Cara’s television career began.

In 2000, Cara landed her first job as a videographer at CFRN Grande Prairie, Alberta. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to CKSA in Lloydminster where she was reporting and got her first news anchor position. In 2001, Cara left Lloydminster to join the CanWest family at CFSK Saskatoon, part of the Global Television Network. September 2001, Cara pulled up stakes and headed for the East coast and a position as news reporter and weekend anchor at Global Television in Halifax.

In November 2003, Cara decided to come home to Alberta – where she joined Global Television Calgary.

The most exciting part of her career is the challenge and thrill of reporting breaking news, live on location.
