Sport: Skeleton

Age: 33

Hometown: Eckville, Alta.

Accomplishments:

  • 2006 Olympic Bronze Medallist.

Interesting Fact: She was sitting in second place heading into the final run in Vancouver. After a great start, she made a risky move on the track to try to go for the gold. The move ended up costing her a medal as she ended up finishing in 5th.

Chances: Hollingsworth is still considered one of the best skeleton riders in the world and could be a serious medal contender. But questions about her health have arisen over the past year after a disappointing season.
