The Port Mann introductory toll rates have been extended to Dec. 31.
Starting Jan. 1 the toll rates will go up to the regular fares (see attached image). For drivers already paying the regular toll rates, there will be no change and tolls will stay the same.
For the past year, drivers who registered early with TReO have been eligible for introductory toll rates while construction has been underway. Those improvements opening in December include additional lanes west of the Port Mann Bridge.
The Port Mann / Highway 1 Improvement Project includes a new Port Mann Bridge, 37 kilometres of highway-widening from Vancouver to Langley and the rebuilding of seven highway overpasses and nine highway interchanges.
Final finishing work along the corridor will continue through 2014. This work primarily involves completion of the final two lanes of the Port Mann Bridge.
