Crash closes southbound Highway 11

SASKATOON – A two vehicle crash has closed the southbound lanes of Highway 11 south of Saskatoon.

The crash between a semi and a half-ton truck happened just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Tamke Road.

No one was injured in the crash.

The front wheels of the semi were dislodged and diesel fuel was leaking from a side tank.

Emergency crews were able to quickly control the leak.

The half-ton was damaged beyond repair.

Mounties say drivers can expect delays for several hours while the investigation into the cause of the crash is carried out and the scene cleared.
