SASKATOON – The Government of Saskatchewan has committed $30,000 per year for five years to create the Randell Morris Legacy Scholarship.

The scholarship honours the late president of the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies and provides 15 scholarships per year of two thousand dollars each.

The first recipients of the scholarship were recognized Thursday at a ceremony in Saskatoon.

Morris joined the institute in 1992 and became president and CEO in 2008. He died last year.
