The president of the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies has passed away.
Randell Morris died unexpectedly on Tuesday.
In a release, SIIT says Morris was a strong leader and sat on many boards and committees.

He was named president of SIIT in January 2008 and has worked there since 1992.
Morris was a member of the George Gordon First Nation.
He leaves behind a wife and daughter.
Classes at SIIT have been cancelled until Thursday.
