Eight- year- old Jenna was attacked when a neighbour’s Pit Bull escaped its enclosure and bit her face.

She sustained serious injuries and required hundreds of stitches.

But Jenna’s Chihuahua Honey distracted the Pit Bull, and it broke off its attack long enough for the Pit Bull’s owner to grab the dog.

This is a dog Jenna’s family has had their eye on for a long time.

“We’ve known it’s dangerous because it’s always muzzled when its walked,” said Jenna’s grandmother Anne Marie Desrochers. “And it goes from the house into the car, and the car into the house, so it’s always been known to be dangerous.”

Jenna is now doing a lot better and has appointments with plastic surgeons lined up.
