Fog moves through at times on Thursday as we climb above freezing for the second time this month!
Snowfall Warning
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning in parts of northern Saskatchewan for 10 to 15 centimetres of snow expected.
A low pressure system developing over northern Alberta will begin to spread snow into northern Saskatchewan Wednesday night and through the day Thursday before gradually tapering off Thursday night.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Saskatoon Forecast
Wednesday
A touch of light snow, fairly light winds, temperatures in the mid-minus teens and wind chills in the -20s started the day in Saskatoon.
We then made our way slowly up through minus double digits through the morning under mostly cloudy skies as snow eased.
Mostly cloudy skies stuck around for the remainder of the day as we rose up to an afternoon high just into minus single digits.
Thursday
-18 is what it’ll feel like as you head out the door Thursday morning with fog potentially reducing visibility to near zero at times.
Fog is one of the trickiest factors to forecast, but there is a chance it may linger through the day as we sit in the warm sector of a system swinging in that’ll warm us up above freezing under mostly cloudy skies.
Rain is very possible Thursday evening as winds will pick up, with gusts upwards of 60 km/h possible.
Friday
The cold front coupled with that system will swing through on Friday and drop temperatures back below freezing into mid-minus single digits.
We will also get into some sunshine on Friday with cold northwesterly winds remaining strong, up to 40 km/h with gusts in excess of 60 km/h possible.
Weekend Outlook
The weekend looks like it’ll start off on a sunny note on Saturday with clouds rolling back in with a chance of late day precipitation as the next system approaches on Sunday.
Daytime highs are expected to flirt with the freezing mark as well this weekend with morning lows likely back into minus double digits.
