WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have decided to go with a familiar face instead of experience behind Matt Nichols.

Dominique Davis will enter the season as the team’s backup quarterback after beating out CFL veteran Dan LeFevour for the gig.

“I think he’s shown a good command of the offence,” Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea said.
