Something for everyone in this forecast with rain, snow, a chance of thunderstorms, warm and cool weather ahead!
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
-7 is what it felt like with wind chill early this morning in Saskatoon as temperatures fell below freezing by a few degrees before we warmed up into mid-single digits by late morning.
Mostly cloudy skies started off the day and will continue into the afternoon as we warm up to a daytime high just into double digits.
Below is a look at areas with snow on the ground from the Easter weekend snow, which is keeping parts of western and central Saskatchewan slightly cooler to start the work week as it acts a bit like a refrigerator and requires a significant amount of energy to melt.
Tonight
Those clouds will stick around tonight as we cool back down below freezing by a degree with some fog patches likely to develop overnight.
Wednesday
-5 is around what it’ll feel like tomorrow morning with wind chill as you head out the door under mostly cloudy skies with some fog patches reducing visibility in areas.
A disturbance rippling through will keep us in the clouds and kick up a good chance of showers from afternoon into the evening with a slight chance of a thunderstorm embedded as we warm up to a daytime high in low double digits.
Thursday-Friday
Sunshine should return on Thursday as clouds clear out and an upper ridge briefly builds in and helps boost temperatures up into the mid-teens for a daytime high.
Most models are bringing in a cold front on Friday that’ll drop us back out of double digits, pick up winds, keep us in the clouds and bring in a good chance of rain during the day.
Weekend Outlook
Cooler air is expected to stick around this weekend behind the front, knocking afternoon highs back into mid-single digits with a bit of sunshine possible on Saturday before clouds and a chance of precipitation move back in for Sunday.
