Saturday could be a record-breaking night for Saskatchewan Rush head coach and general manager Derek Keenan.
When Keenan was hired as head coach and general manager of the then-Edmonton Rush, he took over a team that had posted the worst record in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) for two-straight seasons.

Times have changed.
The Rush have found a home in Saskatchewan and they’ve won two-consecutive NLL championships.
With a win this weekend, Keenan will become the NLL’s all-time leader in coaching wins.
He enters the weekend with 121 regular season victories, 82 which have come with the Rush.
Keenan, the only three-time winner of both coach and general manager of the year awards in the NLL, is currently tied with Darris Kilgore, who coached the Buffalo Bandits from 2003 to 2013.
