WATCH: North Shore Search and Rescue crews have resumed their efforts this morning to find a missing 65-year-old woman. Concern grows over the condition of the woman, Debbie Blair, lost on Cypress Mountain during cold overnight temperatures – Sep 30, 2016

A hiker who went missing on Cypress on Thursday afternoon has not yet been found.

North Shore Rescue is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 65-year-old Debbie Blair who got separated from her hiking group in between the Cypress Mountain parking lot and Eagle Bluff.

She started falling behind and was last seen near the Donut Rock trail junction around noon time.

North Shore Rescue sent crews to the mountain on foot and in a helicopter in search of Blair, but was unable to locate her before dark.

She is described as Caucasian, 5’4″ tall, 130 lbs., with brown and grey hair. She was possibly wearing a hat, t-shirt and white pants.

Blair has trouble hearing and may be suffering from dementia.

The terrain in the area is steep and not well marked.

On Thursday, a search crew member found a set of tracks sliding down a dirt trail, and a set of tracks going up, but they can’t confirm if the tracks belong to Blair.

Today, a search helicopter and more crews will be back out looking for her.

If you think you saw Blair or have information that may help rescuers, North Shore Rescue asks you to call West Vancouver Police.
