Traffic temporarily came to a halt on Highway 97 near Summerland early Thursday morning as the result of a small landslide.

Officials say silt broke away from the hillside near Lakeshore Drive at around 5 a.m., blocking all four lanes.
There were no injuries and the slide has been cleaned up.
The cause of the slide is under investigation.
