A 24-year-old man died in hospital several days after nearly drowning in Leduc, Alta.
Emergency Medical Services were called to the Leduc Recreation Centre at around 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 where they provided medical assistance to the man who was unconscious and not breathing.

The man was taken to an Edmonton hospital where police said he was in critical but stable condition. He passed away on Tuesday.
RCMP said the death doesn’t appear to be suspicious, but the cause is still being investigated.
