KELOWNA–A six vehicle crash left debris strewn along Highway 97 near McCurdy Road in Kelowna on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 12:30 p.m.
“It was just kind of like a domino thing,” says one woman that was caught in the pile-up.
Exactly how the crashes happened is unclear, but it’s believed the driver of a blue SUV either smashed into several vehicles, or caused them to smash into each other.
One of the damaged vehicles was a travel trailer.
No one was seriously injured.
The highway has since fully reopened.
