Executive Director of the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA), David Eby, is leaving the company.
He wrote on his blog on Wednesday that he is stepping down from his position. And a career in politics could be in the cards.
“If you’re wondering where I’m headed, I have a number of options available, and the possibility of a provincial political run in Vancouver Point Grey is certainly one of the more interesting options,” he wrote.
Eby has been with the BCCLA for four years, and has been in the media spotlight numerous times as their spokesperson.
He will stay with the BCCLA until December, but said he will be appearing “less frequently” as a media spokesperson.
