Western Canada Cup gets underway

WEST KELOWNA–After winning the Fred Page Cup on April 23 in a series against the Chilliwack Chiefs, the West Kelowna Warriors are heading to Saskatchewan for their next tournament.

The Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup gets underway on Saturday.

Champions of the four western Junior A leagues, along with their hosts, the Estevan Bruins will head into round robin play.

Saturday, April 30:
Portage Terriers (MJHL) vs. Melfort Mustangs (SJHL), 1pm Pacific
West Kelowna Warriors (BCHL) vs. Estevan Bruins (HOST), 6pm Pacific

The top-two teams from the Western Canada Cup will advance to the RBC Cup national championship in Lloydminster, Alberta, starting May 14.
