Several Winnipeg landmarks are opening this weekend including Shooter’s Family Golf Centre.
“With Manitoba being a short golf season, it builds momentum by starting early and so we hope it continues and then everyone in the golf industry will have a better year,” said Shooters owner Guido Cerasani.
The popular ice cream shop, the Bridge Drive-In also opened its doors on Saturday.
Dozens of people lined up for their first chance this year to get an ice cream.
According to Environment Canada, the sunny, warm days should stretch into Sunday, with a high of 10 C forecast and rising up to a high of 13 C to start the week on Monday.
