WINNIPEG – Hundreds of families flocked to the Red River north of Selkirk to wet a line while supporting a good cause.
The third annual KidFish ice derby took place just north of Selkirk on Sunday afternoon.
Organizers expected more than 800 people would take part in the event that raises money for The Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg and Cancer Care Manitoba.
Last year, more than 700 showed up and $23,000 was raised.
