Toronto-area school boards strike back at students with no snow day tweets

Two Toronto-area school boards garnered praise and criticism for snarky remarks made on Twitter after not calling a snow day on Tuesday.

The Greater Toronto Area received about 10 centimetres of snow during the morning hours which prompted some students to call for school closures.

But the Peel District School Board and the Toronto District School Board would have none of it.

But not everyone appreciated the tweets with some even calling it unprofessional and disrespectful.
