WINNIPEG — Former Conservative member of parliament, Steven Fletcher, is running for a seat in the Manitoba Legislature.
On Wednesday, Fletcher was named the provincial Tory candidate for the Manitoba election on April 19th, 2016.

He will carry the Tory banner in the Assiniboia constituency, currently help by the NDP.
Fletcher is well known for his battle for the right to assisted suicide. He also held a seat as a member of parliament for 11 years, before he was defeated in October’s federal election.
