Following the loss of one of its Falcon 9 rockets just minutes after liftoff on June 28, SpaceX is returning to flight Monday delivering 11 satellites to space for the private company Orbcomm.

The Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to blast off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 8:33 p.m. So far, the weather is 80 per cent favourable for a launch.

As well as returning to flight, SpaceX will also attempt to land the first stage of its rocket back on Earth.
Previous attempts to return the first stage were met with mixed results: in two previous attempts, the rockets were able to return to an ocean platform, but were lost in explosions. This will be the first time SpaceX attempts to return on land back at Cape Canaveral.

Since the loss of the Falcon 9 in June, SpaceX has upgraded the rocket.
