HALIFAX – Halifax police are ticketing a female driver after a vehicle ran into a school bus.
Just before 8 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a crash at Basinview Drive and Horizon Road in Bedford.
Police say a 46-year-old woman failed to stop at the stop sign and drove into the side of a bus.

Approximately 15 elementary students were on the bus. There were no injuries.
Police led students to a waiting school bus, some high-fiving the officers, before they continued their journey to school.
