NDG resident Alex Barta claims citizens have been offered gift certificates of $250 by the developers to help get support for the ten storey building, set to be built at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and De Maisonneuve streets.

The building will house offices for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, rooms for parents whose children are temporarily staying at the hospital, a Provigo grocery store and rooms for senior citizens.
