Kelowna–A Kamloops man has launched a petition to stop the practice of changing the clocks twice a year in B.C.
Bob Dieno has created a facebook page where people can go to discuss the idea, and connect to the petition.
According to Dieno’s press release, workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents increase after a time change.
He also submits that lack of sleep and changes to medication schedules can actually be harmful to people’s health.
The objective is to get ten thousand signatures in four months to present to the provincial government to push for a stop to time changes, and have B.C. remain on daylight savings time year round.
