UPDATE: Man facing charges after 2 armed robberies in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Two suspects are at large after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Saskatoon Tuesday. At around midnight, police were called to the 3300-block of 33rd Street West.

Staff reported two men entered the store armed with what appeared to be shotguns and fled with cigarettes in a grey minivan.

Shortly after, a responding officer spotted the getaway vehicle and followed it. A traffic stop was attempted but the minivan evaded police and then struck a fence on Cartier Crescent.

Police say two suspects abandoned the minivan on foot while a 20-year-old woman inside it was taken into custody.

The first suspect is described as five-foot five, with a slim build. He was wearing a grey Adidas hoodie, a black hat, a mask, blue latex gloves, blue jeans and grey or brown shoes.

The second suspect is described as five-foot three and was slim. He was wearing a grey hoodie with blue diamond pattern on the front and hood, a black balaclava, black pants with red stripes and dark shoes.
