HALIFAX – The head of Halifax’s winter operations, Darrin Natolino, has resigned from his job and the municipality is now looking for a new superintendent as we head into the winter months.

Spokesperson Jennifer Stairs says Natolino has accepted another position and will be leaving the municipality later this month.

His last day on the job is Oct. 16.

Stairs says the municipality is working on an interim management plan until the position can be filled.

Natolino oversaw the clean up of last winter’s record-breaking snow fall in Halifax.
