Two barns were destroyed by fire in Abbotsford Monday afternoon.
Firefighters rushed to a property on Bradner Road around 2 p.m. where they encountered thick black smoke.
They believe the barns were used to house chickens, although they are not sure how many chickens may have been in the barn at the time the blaze broke out.
Crews worked to put out hot spots throughout the night.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
