HUDSON – The Hudson driving school that indefinitely suspended classes and shut its doors last week is refusing to offer reimbursements to all its students.
“The bond insurance company is required to compensate students of any loss that may occur,” said Morty Preisler, owner of Morty’s Driving School.
“Every driving school is bonded.”
Last week, dozens of households received an email from the ARYO Driving School in Hudson saying that classes were cancelled due to a dispute between the majority and minority owners.

Parents were angry because the suspension threatened to put the completion of their children’s driver’s licences in limbo.
Neither of the two owners, Ravit Rosenblum and Aharon Revah, who are related, would discuss the nature of the dispute.
Revah told Global News it would pay up to $5 per student per class to complete their course at a school in Île-Perrot.
The cost of the course is close to $1,000.
