SQ investigates double homicide in Lachute

LACHUTE – Provincial police are searching for Dominic Bertrand, 30, in relation to a double homicide in Lachute.

The bodies of the two men were found around 1 p.m. Tuesday in a duplex apartment on d’Argenteuil Avenue.

The victims are Bertrand’s uncle Gilles Pilon, 61, and neighbour Christian De Champlain, 44.

Bertrand had previously been reported as missing.

Bertrand is 5″11, 180 lbs with brown hair and a tattoo on his arm.

He has a yellow mountain bike.

Lachute is about 85 kilometres northwest of Montreal.
