REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have made some changes to the roster after their sixth straight loss on the weekend. The team announced Tuesday it has released receiver Scott McHenry, 28, who’s been on the six-game injured list all season.
The Saskatoon product was originally selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the fourth round of the 2009 Canadian Draft. McHenry joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2010 before signing with the green and white in August 2011.
In February, he re-signed with the team for his sixth CFL season and fifth with the Riders.
