Police need the public’s help in identifying this bank robber

Surrey RCMP are asking the public’s help in identifying a male who robbed a bank on July 13.

It happened at approximately 12:15 PM in the 1600 block of 152 Street. The suspect is described as a 25-year-old male, 5’10”, 200 lbs, with tattoos across his left hand fingers.  He was wearing a dark coloured New York Yankees hat with pinstripes, a shirt with “G Unit and Co” across the back, grey shorts and white shoes.

“The Surrey RCMP Robbery Unit is leading this investigation and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect,” says Cpl. Scotty Schumann. “Good surveillance photos were obtained and we are hopeful someone will recognize the suspect.”

According to the Surrey RCMP, no staff or patrons were harmed during the incident.
