TORONTO — Canadian actress Evangeline Lilly revealed Monday she is pregnant with her second child.

The 35-year-old Alberta-born star of Lost and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug showed off her bulging belly on the red carpet at the premiere of Ant-Man in Los Angeles.

Lilly plays Hope Van Dyne in the new Marvel movie, which opens July 17.

Lilly and partner Norman Kali are already parents to 4-year-old son Kahekili.

Born in Fort Saskatchewan, Lilly was raised in Abbotsford, B.C. and studied at the University of British Columbia before becoming a model and actress.

She and Kali live in Hawaii.

Lilly had a brief married to Canadian hockey player Murray Hone and a five-year relationship with her Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan.

Last year, Lilly published children’s book The Squickerwonkers.

In an interview published in Ocean Drive last December, Lilly celebrated motherhood.

“What I wanted originally was six kids. I frickin’ love being pregnant,” she said.

“I’m one of the lucky women who just had a blissful pregnancy, but I wanted to adopt four. My partner and I have really been through the wringer in the adoption world and it’s hard, so we’ll see what happens.”
