KELOWNA — Fire crews are fighting a grass fire on Pooley Road in east Kelowna. The fire grew to 100 metres by 120 metres but is now contained.
Crews from several halls are on scene attacking the flames. Pooley Road has been blocked off at McCulloch Road. The fire did pose a threat to an abandoned home, but firefighters managed to beat down the flames before they reached the house.
