REGINA – He’s been everywhere man, and now his music will grace the stage of the Casino Regina Show Lounge.
Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash is a musical being put on by the Globe Theatre that showcases the life of Johnny Cash.
Using his songs, it tells the story of Cash’s life from his brother’s death to his own passing.
Nearly all of the songs will be performed live by five performers.
Frasor Elsdon plays the younger version of Johnny Cash and says fans should be prepared to hear many of their favourites.
“They can expect lots of music, lots of fun music. There’s 33 songs in the show, there’s lots of different styles, different instruments and arrangements,” said Elsdon. “Expect to hear lots of classics and probably some you’ve never heard before and expect just lots of fun.”
The show runs from June 1-12.
