EDMONTON – Wood Buffalo RCMP have made an arrest and placed charges in connection to a homicide in Fort McMurray.
Nigel LaFrance, 19, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the death of a 26-year-old man.

LaFrance has also been charged with robbery with a weapon and carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
On March 17, a man was taken to hospital with a stab wound where he later died. The man was found on Mustang Road in Fort McMurray.
LaFrance has been remanded into custody until he appears in court on Monday.
The RCMP is not releasing the name of the victim.
