MONTREAL – Thousands of Montrealers braved the freezing cold on Sunday to show off their Irish pride.
The 192nd St.Patrick’s parade started at the corner of Ste-Catherine and Fort streets at noon and ends at Phillips Square at 4 p.m.
The event is organized by the United Irish Societies of Montreal as a way to highlight the Irish community’s contribution to Montreal’s history.
