Man killed in rollover on Sask. reserve

DUCK LAKE, Sask. – A man from Beardy’s First Nation is dead after a rollover on Highway 212 Saturday. RCMP were called to a single vehicle crash on the Saskatchewan reserve around 3:10 p.m.

The vehicle had one occupant inside. Micheal Wayne Thomas, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the rollover is under investigation and an autopsy is expected to take place next week.

Beardy’s First Nation is approximately 80 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
