UPDATE: All fog advisories mentioned in this story have ended
SASKATOON – A fog advisory for Saskatoon has been lifted but remains in place for the surrounding area. Environment Canada issued the advisory Friday morning due to near zero visibility.
Poor visibility due to dense fog has been reported across parts of Saskatchewan and into southwestern Manitoba. The fog is expected to dissipate later this morning.
The agency says visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero and say drivers should be prepared for those conditions.
