Kelowna Rocket player inks NHL contract

KELOWNA – The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Kelowna Rocket Tyrell Goulbourne to a three year entry-level contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 21 year old left winger was selected by the NHL club in the third round (72nd overall) of the 2013 draft.

Goulbourne, 21, has been with the Rockets for five years. He has 38 points (17 goals, 21 assists) in 55 games this season.

The Edmonton native has played 268 games with Kelowna after being selected in the fifth round of the WHL Bantam draft.
